Start with the basics
Vocabulary includes word meaning and how a word is used in a sentence. Context often narrows its meaning.
“The bag was light, so Arun carried it easily.” What does “light” mean here?
Remember: A word may have several meanings; choose the one that fits the sentence.
Log in to save highlights and answer practice questions. Select text in a note, then choose a highlight colour. On mobile, touch and hold to select. Choose Save highlights or Save changes to save to your account. You’ll be prompted before leaving unsaved study changes.
Mix reading practice with grammar, vocabulary and paragraph connections; review errors by the rule missed.
Combine comprehension with sentence-level grammar and vocabulary in context.
Use compact reading and sentence drills. Check verb forms, prepositions and context before selecting a word.
Read diverse passages, including literary material. Distinguish a conclusion from its evidence and test assumptions.
Use short timed drills for grammar and word usage. Keep comprehension accurate even when questions are brief.
