Start with the basics
Grammar explains how words work together. A sentence usually needs a subject and a verb that agree.
Choose: “The children plays” or “The children play”.
Remember: Look at the subject, not just the word closest to the verb.

Use compact reading and sentence drills. Check verb forms, prepositions and context before selecting a word.
Read diverse passages, including literary material. Distinguish a conclusion from its evidence and test assumptions.
Use short timed drills for grammar and word usage. Keep comprehension accurate even when questions are brief.
