Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning / Study strategies
Choosing the most solvable sets before committing time.
Listen and follow along. Progress stays on this browser. No login needed.
Start with the basics
Set selection means choosing which problem group to attempt first. Compare how clear its rules are and how much work it needs.
One set has a clearly labelled table; another has several unfamiliar rules. What should you inspect first?
Remember: A short passage is not always an easy set. Change plans if progress stalls.
Log in to save highlights and answer practice questions. Select text in a note, then choose a highlight colour. On mobile, touch and hold to select. Choose Save highlights or Save changes to save to your account. You’ll be prompted before leaving unsaved study changes.

Solve linked sets, not just isolated calculations. Select sets by clarity of constraints; build one representation for all questions.
Explain the idea in your own words before opening the answer. Then apply it to the example.
Explain the main rule in set selection, then apply it to a small example. State the assumption that makes your reasoning valid.
Review the noteAssess representation, constraint clarity and likely progress. Time already spent is not a reason to continue an unproductive set.
Worked example: After two rereads, a set still has many uncontrolled cases. Another set has a small table and a fixed total. Move to the clearer set and return only after securing easier progress.
